Muhammad Preparatory Academy is seeking an experienced Director of Strategy and Development who will oversee all aspects of establishing and launching Muhammad Preparatory Academy, an Islamic-centered K-12 private school in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Key responsibilities include managing the school’s fundraising strategy, coordinating real estate development and construction, and setting up administrative structures for the school’s successful opening. This role requires excellent project management skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the project aligns with the school’s mission.

In the realm of fundraising, the Director will work closely with the Board of Directors to execute a comprehensive strategy to secure the necessary resources for the school's launch and ongoing operations. This includes cultivating relationships with donors, sponsors, and grant providers, as well as organizing and managing fundraising events and campaigns. The Director will also lead efforts in site selection, real estate negotiations, and ensuring the construction process adheres to timelines, budgets, and regulatory requirements.

Beyond logistics, the Director will play a critical role in curriculum development, staffing, and community engagement. This includes overseeing the integration of Islamic values into the educational program, assisting in recruiting qualified staff, and fostering strong relationships with parents, community leaders, and external stakeholders. The Director will also ensure that the school environment supports both academic and spiritual growth, serving as a liaison to ensure alignment with the school’s mission and long-term vision.
